Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care

The Ministry of Pastoral Care seeks to integrate the sick as well as homebound or hospitalized parishioners of the Church of Saint Pius X into the spiritual community and address their needs.

Pastoral Care Ministers visit sick, elderly, homebound or hospitalized parishioners, provide dinner or care packages and/or provide transportation to Mass and medical appointments. Hospital Eucharistic Ministers bring Holy Communion to persons hospitalized at White Plains Hospital and coordinate with the Hospital Chaplain at White Plains Hospital. Homebound Eucharistic Ministers bring Holy Communion to parishioners who are homebound and visit The Ambassador of Scarsdale each Sunday to pray with, and distribute Holy Communion to its residents. Schedule is flexible and determined by need.

Any adult Catholic who has received the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Holy Communion and Confirmation) who wishes to serve and is comfortable bringing Communion to the sick and/or elderly will be trained.

If you are interested in participating in our Pastoral Care Ministry, please contact Debra Lupardo-Belotti at 914-632-1960 (or, the Parish Office at 914-725-2755 (or ) or speak with one of our priests.
